I can across this today while looking at the recipes and thought, well…. You don’t see this every day. So I thought I’d share it with you.
This recipe is for an intimate tete-a-tete, candlelight dinner, or a hearty meal for a small family reunion.
Hippopotamus Stew:
1 Hippo (Medium sized)
Brown gravy to taste
2 Rabbits (optional)
Salt & pepper to taste
Carefully cut the hippo into small bite sized pieces. (This should only take about a month.)
Add enough tasty brown gravy to cover, and simmer slowly at 465 degrees for about four weeks.
This recipe serves 380 to 400 people, if more are expected, feel free to add two more rabbits.
BUT ONLY DO THIS IF NECESSARY, as most people don’t like to find hare in their stew.
Gotcha! Ha ha ha.
I couldn’t resist this one after I saw the last line. I hope it made you laugh.
